Week 12 - First lactic training since the indoor mile

Yvonne Hak`s tweet this week was right on: "Lactic training = Learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable". You can follow Yvonne on Twitter. Find her via @800HAK. My first lactic training since I ran the poor indoor mile race did not bring me the expected satisfying feeling.



We planned to execute a 4x2x600m workout, but I was not able to run comfortable on my current uncomfortable level. We`ll have lots of work to do before I even think about racing. Pushing to run a plain 1`40 on 600 is way off the shape I hoped to have already. Let`s keep putting trust on the trainers of the High Performance Running Team, Dirk and Tim know what`s necessary to be in top shape as of the month of June. 


Next to the first lactic training, the mileage was maintained and 2 hill repeat sessions were executed in order to boost the VO2max.
